NEW NORMAL HEALTHY HABITS DUE TO THE PANDEMIC

The recent pandemic truly changed how we perceived and approached how important it is to be healthy, keeping ourselves active indoor, learning new things, how vulnerable life is, and how important it is to spend each time with our family. And embrace the new normal.



New Normal Challenges

In this new normal, what are the challenges each person encounters? These are but are not limited to:

  1. Anxious on how to maintain our body healthy.

  2. The anxiety we feel when we go outdoors.

  3. Habits that we should possess to embrace the new normal.

Here are tips that will help us to keep our physical bodies healthy amid the pandemic.


1. TAKE VITAMINS AND EAT HEALTHY

-Food alone is not enough. In this new normal boost your immunity by taking vitamins every day.

Pharmacist tip: When taking medicines, it is better to take them with water because some beverages like grapefruit juice can affect drug absorption, thus affecting drug efficacy.


2. DON'T FORGET TO WEAR YOUR FACEMASK AND FACESHIELD

--Always bring together with you your facemask and face shield as well as extra of these.

-These are the new must-have in this new normal aside from your wallet and Phone when going outside


3. ALWAYS BRING WITH YOU YOUR SANITIZER

- Even though every mall or establishments already have their sanitizing stations. In this new normal, It doesn't hurt to have your sanitizer stash on your own.


4. MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES

- Stay at least 6 feet apart from everyone to avoid transmission of the virus. It's better safe than sorry.


5. WASH YOUR HANDS PROPERLY AND REGULARLY

- Even before the pandemic starts scrubbing all parts of our hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water is an evergreen health tip. What more now. Be safe and healthy.


Things may or may never return to normal, but that's okay. We can always create a new normal/ routine together.
